MY STORY
Hello,
I’m Bahaa.
I’m a badminton player from Jordan.
And I still love stepping onto a court.

FROM ZARQA
It wasn’t always
badminton.
I tried football and karate before I found the sport that felt right. Badminton became the thing I wanted to keep getting better at.
It hasn’t always been easy to keep playing. I worked part-time as a painter to help fund my career. That’s part of my story too—the work away from the court that made the next tournament possible.

to be proud
of me.”
HERE, NOW
Still training.
Still hungry to play.
I’ve competed at World Championships in China, Switzerland and Denmark. Today I train in Amman with my coach, Tareq Al Faouri, at Al Hussein Youth City.
I’ve been away from international competition because of the cost, not because I’ve stopped wanting to play. My focus now is getting back into singles competition and working towards the world’s top 100.
